After being told that our two Australian Shepards were prone to osteoarthritis, we wanted to make sure they were getting the support they needed. The first place we looked were their beds, as this is where they can spend the majority of their day 😟 🐶 Dogs spend around 50% of their lives sleeping, so we weren’t going to settle for another cheap bed from Target or Kmart that wouldn't provide the support our dogs needed.

We bought a bunch of dog beds, trying to find one that our dogs would love. But they all had the same issues; easily worn out, cheap filling, too soft (not ideal for joint pain or support), quickly damaged by water and stains, or simply too uncomfortable. Then, one day, our local vet recommended a memory foam mattress. At first, we made beds for our dogs. Then for friends and family.
